I really enjoyed Jordan Peterson’s 12 rules. I’ve started sitting up straighter since I read it. I’ve also been less tolerant with my children when they do things that annoy me. He helped me see that if their behavior is annoying me, it’s certainly annoying everyone around me.

Ever heard of the book “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry”? I read that book a little over a year ago. It speaks to the themes of managing the chaos. After I read that book it helped me see I need to keep first things first. I resigned from a non-profit board. I stopped playing Fantasy Football.

They’re small things, but I realized that they cluttered my mind. I want to stay focused on a few things.

1. My family

2. My job.

3. My investments.

The board and fantasy football distracted me from the most important things.

As always, I appreciate the honesty. Cheers.
